Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Asset Management Analyst to support fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, financial reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving operational efficiencies across asset management processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with public accounting experience, CPA credentials, and strong fixed asset expertise who enjoys partnering across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support fixed asset accounting operations
- Manage asset acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, and disposals
- Perform financial analysis and reporting related to fixed assets
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Support lease accounting administration and reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for capital expenditures
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities
- Partner with stakeholders to improve asset management processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Identify and implement process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA certification
- Public Accounting experience
- SAP ERP experience
- 3-10 years of accounting experience
- 3+ years of fixed asset accounting and/or lease accounting experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience driving process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Big 4 Public Accounting experience
- Automotive industry experience
- Lease Accounting (ASC 842)
- Advanced SAP ERP experience
