IT Procurement / Contracts Specialist
Location: Onsite
Position Type: Contract (through September 2026 with possible extension)

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Procurement / Contracts Specialist to support contract administration, vendor coordination, and procurement-related activities within a technology-focused environment.

This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, administrative experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting procurement operations and contract lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and processing of legal and technology-related agreements
  • Draft and execute:
    • Contract renewals
    • Contract amendments
    • New vendor and technology service agreements
  • Respond to requests related to managed contracts and vendor documentation
  • Route contracts and related documents through digital signature platforms
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and contract records
  • Respond to procurement and contract-related inquiries from internal teams and vendors
  • Conduct internet research related to vendors, procurement activities, and contract information
  • Perform document management, filing, and data entry activities

Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or related field
    (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Adobe Acrobat
    • Digital signature platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and task management abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and execute work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with procurement processes, contract administration, or vendor management
  • Knowledge of government procurement policies and procedures
  • Experience with financial systems and document processing
  • Previous administrative or operational support experience within IT or procurement environments
