Demand Planner
Type: Contract
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Work Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Overview
We are seeking a Demand Planner to support consumer skincare products, partnering across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive accurate forecasting and business alignment. This position plays a key role in managing SKU-level demand planning, analyzing trends, and supporting monthly planning cycles.
What You’ll Do
- Own demand forecasting for assigned products and customer accounts at the SKU level
- Build and maintain demand plans using sales data, inventory levels, and promotional insights
- Partner with Sales teams to align forecasts and present updates in monthly planning meetings
- Analyze retailer POS and shipment data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Take action on forecast variances and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product launches and lifecycle changes
- Monitor key metrics such as forecast accuracy, bias, and lost sales, and drive improvements
- Support S&OP processes and ensure data accuracy across systems
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, or inventory management
- Experience working with retail, CPG, or similar environments preferred
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Familiarity with forecasting tools and statistical models is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
