Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems & Network Engineer to design, optimize, and secure enterprise infrastructure in a high-growth environment. This position blends hands-on systems engineering with network architecture and operational support, playing a key role in ensuring scalability, performance, and security across the organization.
Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Hyper-V environments

Manage backups, disaster recovery, patching, and system hardening initiatives

Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot system and network issues
-
Support SQL environments and develop automation using PowerShell
-
Manage and optimize firewalls, VPNs, switching, and network segmentation
-
Support secure remote access and connectivity across multiple environments
-
Lead network expansions, facility buildouts, and production connectivity improvements
-
Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
-
Enforce access controls, endpoint security, and identity management best practices
-
Support vulnerability management, incident response, and security improvements

Provide Tier 2/3 support for infrastructure-related issues

Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes and system provisioning

Manage hardware procurement, deployment, and lifecycle tracking
-
Maintain clear documentation, standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in systems administration and infrastructure engineering
-
Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Hyper-V
-
Experience managing network infrastructure including VPNs, firewalls, and switching
-
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions

PowerShell scripting and automation experience

Working knowledge of SQL

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and access controls

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
-
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience supporting CAD environments (SolidWorks, PDM) preferred
-
Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments preferred
Education & Certifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred
-
Microsoft or network/security certifications are a plus
