Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer (Security-Focused)
Location: Grapevine, TX (Onsite with hybrid flexibility)
Compensation: $110K–$140K + Benefits
Overview
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and secure enterprise systems in a fast-paced production environment. This role focuses on maintaining system stability, applying security updates, and resolving vulnerabilities across core infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong systems administration background and a passion for infrastructure security.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patching and updates across servers and applications
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities from security scans
- Support production infrastructure and troubleshoot system issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Ensure systems are secure, stable, and compliant
- Support incident response and recovery efforts
- Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience with Windows Server environments
- Experience with patch management and production system updates
- Experience working with vulnerability remediation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ticketing and change management systems
Preferred Experience
- Linux administration
- Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Security tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7)
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Exposure to security frameworks or compliance environments
