OT Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced OT Security Engineer to support cybersecurity initiatives across industrial and operational technology environments. This role focuses on improving asset visibility, monitoring, and security controls across SCADA, PLCs, and related systems.
This is a hands-on position working at the intersection of OT and cybersecurity operations, including platform deployment, threat detection, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities

Secure and support SCADA systems, PLCs, and OT environments

Analyze OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, BACnet, OPC) and assist with IT/OT network segmentation

Deploy and manage OT security platforms (Armis, Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos, etc.)

Perform asset discovery, risk analysis, and alerting configuration

Integrate OT telemetry into MDR/SOC workflows

Support Active Directory integration and access controls in OT environments

Assist with incident response, documentation, and knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, OT, or ICS environments

Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLCs, and industrial protocols

Experience with OT security platforms (Armis or similar)

Background integrating tools with SOC/MDR environments

Strong Active Directory experience

Understanding of IT/OT segmentation and security risks
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in utilities or critical infrastructure

Familiarity with NIST CSF or CIS Controls

OT-focused certifications (GICSP, CISSP, GCIA)
