Duration: 6-month contract (extension possible)
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Setting: Hybrid (after initial onboarding period)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to support a large-scale Microsoft SQL Server environment. This role will focus on performance tuning, database optimization, reporting, and ETL support across a high-volume production environment.
Responsibilities
- Support a large Microsoft SQL Server environment with hundreds of production databases
- Perform performance tuning, SQL tracing, and blocking analysis
- Optimize queries, stored procedures, and database performance
- Manage database access and security requests
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports
- Build and support SSIS packages
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Support automation using SQL Agent and PowerShell
- Work cross-functionally to resolve database-related challenges
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator
- Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Expertise in T-SQL and database performance tuning
- Experience with high availability technologies (replication, availability groups, clustering)
- Experience building SSIS packages using Visual Studio
- Experience with SQL Agent and job automation
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Experience with database monitoring tools such as SQL Sentry, SolarWinds, or Idera
- Experience in regulated or security-focused environments
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Relevant certifications are a plus
