Senior EDI Developer
Job Summary:
My client is seeking a senior-level developer to support enhancements to a Medicaid EDI system as part of a long-term rebid effort. The role focuses on making coding changes to existing EDI healthcare transactions and supporting testing with internal teams and external trading partners.
Responsibilities:
• Modify and enhance EDI healthcare transaction code
• Work with technical specifications to implement required changes
• Debug, unit test, and support integration testing
• Support QA, UAT, and external testing efforts
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on mandated system changes
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience with Actian DataConnect
• 5+ years of experience with Axiom TransSend
• 3+ years of experience with Pervasive Designer data mapping
• 3+ years of experience with Visual Basic
• 5+ years of experience supporting Medicaid systems
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Java
• Experience with JavaScript
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
