Now Hiring: Finance Manager – Capital Projects & Technology Finance
Location: Remote - Hybrid (Southern California preferred – LA/Ventura County)
Type: Full-Time | Contract (6 months with strong likelihood of extension)
Worksite: Occasional Travel Onsite (1–2x/month in early stages at Thousand Oaks, CA)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (some flexibility for East Coast coordination)


Overview:
CornerStone TTS is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to support a global technology team within a leading enterprise organization. This role focuses on financial planning, capital project governance, and strategic analysis of large-scale technology investments.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader with strong experience in SAP, Anaplan, and Excel. You’ll work closely with IT, accounting, and corporate finance teams to ensure effective forecasting, reporting, and project spend tracking. This is a key position for someone who thrives in matrixed environments and enjoys driving results through collaboration, data, and clear communication.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis efforts for technology capital projects

  • Own monthly forecasting and variance analysis, delivering insights to senior leadership

  • Guide cross-functional stakeholders in aligning financial plans with strategic project goals

  • Manage project funding, POs, invoices, accruals, and capital governance processes

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, ETDG, and capital funding procedures

  • Collaborate with project managers, IT, and finance to track milestones and update forecasts

  • Drive financial reviews and present actionable insights to business leaders

  • Serve as a liaison between finance, technology, and project governance teams

  • Provide operational support for Opex and headcount planning


Top Skills Required:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP, Anaplan, and Excel

  • Proven ability to manage capital project financials in a large corporate environment

  • Effective communicator with experience presenting to senior leadership

  • Comfortable working in matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders (IT, finance, accounting)

  • Strong analytical mindset with business acumen and executive presence


Preferred Background:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in FP&A or project finance roles

  • Experience supporting technology organizations and capital investments

  • Familiarity with MyBuy and enterprise financial systems

  • Stable employment history with long-term contributions in past roles

  • Local to Southern California (preferred), with ability to attend onsite meetings as needed


Basic Qualifications (Must Meet One):

  • Doctorate degree

  • Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience

  • Associate degree and 10+ years of experience

  • High school diploma/GED and 12+ years of experience
