This is a prime opportunity for a hybrid Scrum Master/Project Manager to join a fast-moving healthcare IT environment supporting mission-critical product development and delivery goals. You will guide both the tactical and strategic execution of technology projects across multiple business and technical teams.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in managing delivery across Agile teams and driving enterprise-level program objectives. You ll facilitate sprint delivery while managing scope, timelines, risk, and resource coordination. The ideal candidate has experience balancing project governance with Agile flexibility and is comfortable acting as both coach and executor. Healthcare IT experience is highly preferred.

Core Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex healthcare IT initiatives
  • Own program planning including timelines, stakeholder alignment, milestones, and communication
  • Manage risks, scope changes, approvals, and delivery dependencies across business and technical units
  • Serve as the escalation point for blockers and schedule impacts, communicating effectively with leadership
  • Align program execution with strategic objectives, ensuring measurable value and delivery outcomes

Scrum Master
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos
  • Support the product owner in backlog refinement, story estimation, and sprint commitment
  • Proactively identify and remove team impediments
  • Monitor and improve team velocity and Agile maturity using KPIs and retrospectives
  • Champion Agile values while ensuring compliance with audit and traceability requirements
  • Prepare progress reports and retrospectives for continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience managing Agile software development as both Scrum Master and Project Manager
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, SDLC, and healthcare IT ecosystems
  • Comfortable working in remote and distributed teams with multiple stakeholders
  • Skilled in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools;familiarity with scaled Agile practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in healthcare IT systems or digital health platforms
  • Experience delivering software under regulatory compliance or audit-readiness standards
  • Familiarity with release planning, cross-functional coordination, and executive reporting
