SAP Ariba Administrator

Type: Long-term Contract (potential for hire)

Location: Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8: 00 am 5: 00 pm CST or EST

Work Setting: Hybrid - Must be local to DFW or Atlanta and able to commute to the office for training and monthly team events

Position Summary:

The SAP Ariba Administrator will manage day-to-day administration and support of the SAP Ariba platform. Responsibilities include ensuring system reliability, managing user access, overseeing procurement workflows, and supporting Ariba projects and enhancements. This position will also provide backup coverage for SAP Fieldglass administration when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve SAP Ariba Tier 2 system issues
  • Partner with SAP/Ariba support for escalations
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access requests
  • Support supplier onboarding in Ariba
  • Monitor system performance and communicate outages/maintenance
  • Test and deploy new modules, features, or patches (UAT included)
  • Improve procurement workflows for efficiency and compliance
  • Maintain system documentation and process updates
  • Identify cost-saving technology opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements (SOX, internal controls)
  • Manage Ariba Buyer Funded program
  • Assist with training material development and delivery
  • Provide SAP Fieldglass support as backup

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of SAP Ariba administration experience

Critical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, Procure-to-Pay)
  • Compliance, access management, and audit experience
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-directed, collaborative, and detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass or willingness to be cross-trained
