Overview
A leading organization in the financial technology space is seeking a Senior Security Analyst IAM to support the advancement and automation of its Identity and Access Management practices. This fully remote contract role focuses on enhancing secure access processes, governing privileged accounts, and strengthening compliance through the implementation of IAM best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate enterprise applications with the IAM platform to automate provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Provide process guidance and define technical requirements for IAM workflows and role creation.
- Evaluate and improve access governance strategies and conduct quality assessments of IAM tasks.
- Support enforcement of security policies, procedures, and IAM controls.
- Maintain and enhance identity governance and privileged access management tools.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and documentation for access administration.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with operational needs and project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management or information security.
- Expertise in IAM concepts, standards, and governance frameworks (e.G., RBAC, ABAC).
- Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint IdentityNow, BeyondTrust, or equivalent platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud IAM systems and architectures (e.G., EntraID, AWS, GCP).
- Hands-on experience automating IAM processes and managing API integrations.
- Proficiency in administering user lifecycle events and privileged access.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret IAM trends and risks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, remote environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;able to translate technical issues for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as CIAM, CISSP, or Certified Access Management Specialist.
- Working knowledge of identity protocols including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
