CornerStone Technology Talent Services is actively seeking a Technical Content Specialist to support a high-impact knowledge management initiative for a leading enterprise workforce. This role is ideal for a strong writer who thrives in structured content environments and understands how to communicate complex HR topics clearly and effectively.
You ll contribute to an internal self-service platform used by thousands of employees. Your work will support organizational transparency, reduce operational noise, and create intuitive access to answers across human resources, policy, payroll, and employee services.
About the Role
This opportunity is suited for someone who combines curiosity, editorial precision, and digital communication instincts. You will own and maintain a portfolio of HR knowledge content categories, working directly with subject matter experts to translate policy and operational processes into user-facing documentation that is easy to find, read, and act on.
Core Responsibilities
- Write, revise, and optimize knowledge base articles for internal HR support platforms
- Translate employee-facing questions into clear, structured content
- Apply writing standards, style guides, and SEO principles to every deliverable
- Audit and maintain an assigned content library for clarity, accuracy, and performance
- Collaborate across communications, HR operations, and support teams to identify content needs
- Contribute to improving processes, templates, and editorial systems
- Track article lifecycle and proactively recommend improvements based on usage patterns and system feedback
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in technical writing, editorial, content development, or journalism
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex information
- Experience producing help content, SOPs, training documentation, or internal communications
- Ability to work with minimal direction, ask smart questions, and manage competing priorities
- Understanding of HR topics such as benefits, compensation, time reporting, and employee policies is a plus
- Knowledge of content systems or platforms such as ServiceNow is a plus
- Writing samples required and must reflect concise, user-focused writing for digital environments
Preferred Background
- Exposure to structured content environments or self-service systems
- Familiarity with content lifecycle management and version control
- Journalism or instructional design experience is advantageous
- Interest in workforce enablement, digital operations, and internal communications
