Architectural Construction Administrator

Location: Dallas, TX (Limited Travel)

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite with occasional site travel

Position Overview

We are actively hiring a skilled Construction Administrator or Registered Architect who excels in the architectural execution phase and understands the intricacies of multifamily construction across various building types and densities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality and compliance from design delivery through construction.

If you're an architect or a construction professional who thrives on translating construction documents into buildable solutions, resolving RFIs, conducting jobsite reviews, and maintaining project momentum, this position offers you the chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead construction administration efforts for multifamily residential developments across varied construction types (Type I V, podium, wrap, garden, etc.)
  • Manage and respond to RFIs and ASIs, and issue timely drawing/specification revisions as needed
  • Review and approve shop drawings in digital and hybrid formats
  • Conduct periodic jobsite visits to assess construction progress and quality of execution
  • Facilitate on-site construction progress meetings and document outcomes through meeting minutes
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and field personnel to resolve technical issues during construction
  • Ensure alignment with project specifications, codes, and delivery schedules

What We Look For
  • Experience supporting or leading construction administration for large-scale multifamily or mixed-use projects
  • In-depth understanding of the construction lifecycle, from contract documents to final punch
  • Familiarity with architectural detailing, materials, and specifications
  • Proficiency in document review and project communication tools (Bluebeam, CADD, Procore, etc.)
  • Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills with a proactive mindset
  • Architectural registration (preferred) or equivalent construction administration experience
  • Professional degree in Architecture or Construction Management (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project reviews
