Job Title: Project Architect
Duration: Full-Time | Be a permanent employee from day one!
Schedule: M F, Core Business Hours
Location: Onsite in Grapevine, TX
Job Duties:
- Oversee design documentation and production processes across multiple regional teams.
- Lead coordination of plan development, permit preparation, and technical deliverables.
- Provide architectural review and final sign-off for construction drawings under your supervision.
- Apply relevant building codes to support health, safety, and compliance objectives.
- Support and maintain internal architectural standards and best practices.
- Conduct quality assurance through document audits and team training.
- Guide mid-level team leads to meet milestones across a range of residential design efforts.
- Manage recurring updates to product plans, lot-specific layouts, and client-driven revisions.
- Promote alignment and consistency across project outputs in assigned areas.
- Coordinate with external contributors and track deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Mentor junior staff and participate in hiring and personnel decisions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on cross-functional efforts, including technical updates, drafting improvements, and modernization initiatives.
- Contribute to innovation projects and other departmental needs as required.
Job Requirements:
Required:
- Accredited degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Active professional license with national certification.
- At least 5 years of architectural experience including project and staff oversight.
- Strong command of technical design, construction processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Skilled in managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across functions.
- Proficient in standard office software for documentation and communication.
- Clear, effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Valid driver s license with a good record.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and cloud-based design collaboration platforms.
