What You'll Need
- 3 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Stable work history
- Ability to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX
- Willingness to work a 50-hour work week
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field is preferred, but not required
What You ll Be Doing
- Collaborating with financial professionals to gather data requirements
- Performing data extraction and transformation tasks
- Designing and maintaining tables, stored procedures, triggers, UDFs, and complex queries
- Analyzing and optimizing query performance
- Developing data analysis tools, including Excel queries and macros
- Handling database maintenance such as backups, maintenance plans, and security controls
- Applying creative thinking and problem-solving to technical challenges
- Participating in internal training programs, grading SQL and technical tests, and mentoring on best practices
