Senior Business Systems Analyst

Join CGI’s Payment Integrity team as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, serving as a strategic bridge between business objectives and technical solutions. You’ll partner with customers, product leaders, engineering teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to analyze complex business needs, define system requirements, and help deliver scalable solutions that improve functionality and customer experience.

This role can be performed near a CGI office within the United States.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Translate business processes and functional needs into clear requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Lead requirements-gathering and JAD sessions to assess business needs, impacts, dependencies, and solution options
• Perform detailed system and data analysis across applications, platform components, and enterprise data sources
• Partner with product owners, engineering, QA, UX, and program teams throughout design, development, testing, and implementation
• Analyze and communicate technical concepts including service-oriented architecture, data models, application design, and infrastructure
• Use SQL and query tools to analyze data and support data mapping, transformation, and movement activities
• Develop and interpret process flows, data flows, sequence diagrams, and other solution artifacts
• Support Agile delivery and continuous improvement while helping cross-functional teams maintain alignment and execution

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of experience analyzing business processes and application systems
• 5+ years of experience working with healthcare claims and/or Payment Integrity
• Demonstrated experience supporting Agile delivery with product, engineering, QA, Scrum, and project teams
• Strong system and data analysis capabilities across enterprise platforms and services
• Proficiency with SQL and database query tools, including experience analyzing complex data sets
• Ability to understand and communicate technical architecture, data modeling, application design, and infrastructure concepts
• Experience developing business and system documentation, including user stories, use cases, workflows, and modeling artifacts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with data mapping, transformation, and data movement
• Experience collaborating with UX teams on web and mobile solutions
• Experience applying AI tools and techniques to improve efficiency or solution quality
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $156,700.00.
