Position Description:
CGI is seeking an accomplished executive to serve as our Vice President for the AWS Global Alliance. In this critical global leadership role, you will expand, elevate, and govern CGI's most strategic cloud partnership, driving substantial revenue growth, market differentiation, and executive‑level collaboration across CGI and AWS.
This role requires an influential leader with deep cloud ecosystem expertise, a strong executive presence, and the ability to operate at the highest levels of both organizations. You will leverage your established AWS relationships to accelerate CGI's standing in the AWS Partner Network and ensure that every Strategic Business Unit (SBU) derives measurable value from the alliance.
This position may be located at any CGI office in North America (U.S. preferred). The AWS Global Alliance Manager (GAM) role can be a rotational assignment offering a career path into senior operations leadership roles across CGI.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As CGI's AWS Global Alliance leader, you will be responsible for strengthening, scaling, and governing CGI's global relationship with AWS. You will drive strategic alignment across SBUs, ensure global execution of partner initiatives, and deliver sustained growth through joint solutions, programs, and field collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
Setting the long‑term strategic vision for CGI's AWS partnership, collaborating with executive sponsors, AWS senior leaders, and CGI business leaders.
Building and executing a global, multi‑year Partner Business Plan focused on pipeline acceleration, bookings growth, capability development, and AWS solution adoption.
Managing global executive relationships with AWS, ensuring alignment across Partner, Sales, Industry, and technical organizations.
Leading the development of co‑innovated offerings and Go‑to‑Market (GTM) strategies with AWS Partner Development Managers (PDMs), including industry alignment and differentiated solution positioning.
Driving global joint sales motions, marketing programs, and co‑funded initiatives tied to high‑priority industries and emerging AWS services (including AI solutions).
Serving as an executive evangelist for CGI's AWS capabilities internally and representing CGI leadership across AWS global forums and partner councils.
Leading global pipeline reviews, business performance updates, and partner governance sessions with AWS and CGI executives.
Overseeing CGI's AWS talent strategy, including certifications, upskilling, and targeted hiring to strengthen cloud and AI expertise.
Supporting strategic deal cycles and guiding field sales teams on messaging, value positioning, and AWS‑aligned pursuits.
Ensuring governance of AWS Partner Portal data, reporting, transparency of opportunities, and compliance with AWS program requirements.
Tracking and reporting performance against global KPIs including partner‑aligned pipeline, certifications, client success stories, joint investments, and AWS incentive consumption.
Identifying and resolving executive‑level partner issues, removing obstacles, and ensuring high trust and continued momentum in the relationship.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA or technical master's).
15+ years managing strategic alliances/partnerships.
10+ years of direct experience managing or scaling global alliances with a hyperscaler, several years with AWS.
Knowledge of AWS cloud services, solution architectures, and emerging AWS technologies including AI/ML offerings.
Demonstrated success delivering revenue growth and building global partner programs within a large, matrixed organization.
Existing executive‑level relationships within AWS's global Partner, Sales, and Industry organizations.
Proven ability to influence senior executives, communicate complex strategies, and serve as a high‑credibility representative in C‑suite discussions.
Experience architecting global GTM programs, industry‑aligned offerings, and field‑level execution plans with cloud partners.
Strong organizational governance skills with a track record of leading executive reviews, business planning cycles, and KPI measurement frameworks.
Highly collaborative, able to drive alignment across decentralized teams and global business units.
Curiosity, strategic agility, and comfort navigating evolving cloud and AI markets.
Participation and visibility in cloud ecosystem events, AWS conferences, or industry partner networks.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $190,400- $352,000.
