Position Description:
This role requires the candidate to work on the client site 5 days per week in Dallas TX.
As a Scrum Master individual would be required to facilitate all the Agile Ceremonies, manage Stake Holders and Product Owner Communications in efficient manner.
CGI is looking for a strong Senior Scrom Master with following skillset.
SAFe methodology experience, experience conducting PI Planning, Sprint Planning, all relevant Agile ceremonies, managing stake holder and product owner communications and priorities with appropriate certifications preferably.
Essential skills:
Scrum Scaling and Coaching Support
- Is knowledgeable in scaling agile and can assist large complex platforms and products in adopting agile principles and practices.
- Is a teacher, coach, mentor, facilitator, and change agent.
- Demonstrates an ability to influence agility with those interacting with the Agile team, including direct management.
Scrum Team Support
- Is knowledgeable in scaling agile and can assist large complex platforms and products in adopting agile principles and practices.
- Is a teacher, coach, mentor, facilitator, and change agent.
- Demonstrates an ability to influence agility with those interacting with the Agile team, including direct management.
- Guides the Scrum Team's focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Removes impediments to the Scrum Team's progress.
- Ensures that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Shields the team from external influences.
- Guides the team on how to use agile values, agile principles, and agile framework practices to delight customers and contribute towards building a culture of trust, respect, simplicity, courage, transparency, and agility.
- Helps find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.
- Helps the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
- Helps establish empirical product planning for a complex environment.
- Assesses the agile health of the team and coach them to higher levels of fluency at a sustainable pace for the team and department.
- Embodies agile behaviors and practices while exhibiting an innovative attitude and an aptitude to embrace change and improve the practices and processes of the team daily.
- Oversees the scrum process, coaches the team; facilitates transparent and adaptive culture.
Communication/Collaboration
- Helps to ensure coordination and collaboration across multiple teams to ensure delivery of high value to the customer.
- Facilitates discussion, decision making, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment.
- Build effective partnership with the Product Owner and provide mentoring and support especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog and release planning, aligning delivery expectations with all stakeholders.
- Coordinates with Project Management.
- Participate in the Scrum of Scrums.
- Assist PNC FTEs on Service development
- Work with CGI team and PNC to develop MQ, Webservices related virtualization.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Minimum:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR a high school diploma/ GED with 12 years of progressive relevant experience
6 years' experience as a Scrum Master
6 years' experience delivering products in a leadership or project team role
5 years' experience in a large-scale multi-team environment
Preferred:
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A- CSMSM)
Certified Scrum Professional — ScrumMaster (CSP®-SM)
SAFe methodology

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $176,300.00.
