Position Description:

CGI is seeking a visionary and highly accomplished Director – ERP Solutions & Innovation to lead strategic innovation initiatives across our public sector and enterprise solution landscape. This leadership role is responsible for driving enterprise modernization, AI-enabled transformation, platform strategy, and next-generation technology adoption across CGI Advantage ERP and related public sector initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of public sector consulting experience, enterprise architecture expertise, ERP modernization leadership, and emerging technology innovation, including Generative AI, automation, cloud-native architectures, and scalable platform engineering. This role will partner closely with executive leadership, product engineering, consulting, delivery, and client stakeholders to define and execute transformational technology strategies that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and long-term platform scalability.

CGI Advantage is CGI’s flagship ERP platform designed specifically for government organizations and backed by more than 50 years of public sector expertise. CGI continues to invest heavily in modernization, cloud transformation, AI enablement, and next-generation digital capabilities supporting state and local government clients across North America.

This role can be performed from Dallas CGI U.S. office and follows a hybrid work model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Strategic Technology Leadership
• Define and execute enterprise-wide digital transformation and emerging technology strategies aligned with CGI’s public sector modernization objectives
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on AI, cloud, ERP modernization, platform scalability, and innovation strategy
• Lead architecture and modernization initiatives supporting CGI Advantage ERP and public sector client ecosystems
• Drive innovation initiatives involving Generative AI, automation, cloud-native platforms, integrations, and intelligent workflow solutions
Public Sector & ERP Modernization
• Lead complex public sector modernization programs supporting state and local government clients
• Architect scalable enterprise solutions supporting payroll, HRM, ERP, financial, and operational systems
• Partner with public sector agencies to assess technology landscapes, define modernization roadmaps, and deliver transformation initiatives
• Drive modernization and optimization of legacy enterprise platforms into scalable cloud-enabled architectures
Emerging Technologies & AI Enablement
• Lead adoption and implementation of AI/ML, GenAI, RAG architectures, intelligent automation, and conversational AI capabilities
• Evaluate emerging technologies and establish enterprise frameworks, standards, and governance models
• Drive development of AI-enabled operational workflows, decision intelligence systems, and automation platforms
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate modern AI capabilities into enterprise products and delivery models
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead and mentor global cross-functional engineering, architecture, and delivery teams across onshore and offshore environments
• Build high-performing innovation and emerging technologies teams supporting scalable delivery and platform enablement
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, operational excellence, and customer-focused delivery
• Establish governance frameworks, architecture standards, and engineering best practices across delivery organizations
Client Engagement & Delivery Oversight
• Lead executive stakeholder discussions, architecture workshops, and strategic technology assessments
• Support business development activities, solution strategy, proposal development, and executive-level presentations
• Oversee large-scale enterprise delivery programs ensuring alignment with scope, quality, budget, and operational objectives
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Consulting, and Platform teams to shape strategic customer outcomes

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, digital transformation, solution architecture, or emerging technology strategy
• Strong experience leading large-scale ERP modernization and enterprise platform initiatives
• Deep understanding of public sector technology environments and government modernization programs
• Experience supporting CGI Advantage ERP, HRM, payroll, or large-scale enterprise application ecosystems preferred
• Proven expertise in Generative AI, AI/ML, cloud-native architectures, integrations, automation, and enterprise platform modernization
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing global engineering, architecture, and delivery teams
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and client advisory skills
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Agile, hybrid, and enterprise delivery environments
• Strong background in enterprise integrations, scalable platform architecture, and operational transformation
• Ability to influence strategic technology direction across engineering, product, consulting, and executive leadership teams
• Experience supporting state and local government modernization initiatives
• Background in CGI Advantage ERP or public sector ERP modernization programs
• Experience establishing innovation practices, emerging technology groups, or enterprise AI initiatives
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices architectures, API ecosystems, and enterprise integration frameworks
• Experience supporting large-scale payroll, HRM, or government operational systems

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $129,100.00 - $276,200.00.
