The role, at a glance:
The Business Development is a member of the Vertical Market Development Team and is responsible for executing strategic sales plans to achieve the key objectives for the assigned corporate accounts and prospects. The Business Development must have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to initiate contact and build a relationship based on trust with different stakeholders and decisionmakers within the large corporate accounts. This individual will identify new opportunities in the corporate vertical. They will alliance and manage the integration of the opportunities via existing network of distributors and integrators.
How you'll contribute:
Work with the existing team of Vertical Market Managers and reports to the Manager Vertical Market Development Europe to create and execute the sales strategy for the corporate vertical in the region
Monitor competition through product, price, and market analysis while keeping up with industry technologies and trends
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity and provide timely feedback to the Manager Vertical Market Development Europe
Identify new market opportunities and make suggestions to win new business
Deliver high-quality Quarterly Business Reviews internally based on up-to-date info in CRM
Be responsible for driving revenue and building relationships with new & existing end users in the large corporate account vertical
Make warm and cold calls to prospective customers to promote business via networking and relationship building skills
Create, nurture and develop relationships with the Audio-video teams, decision-makers, and influencers in the large corporate account vertical
Visit potential customers, make presentations, and identify key decisions makers
Work alongside Sales Reps, Integrators, and Consultants to create opportunities with large corporate accounts
Identify and cultivate a list of End-users in the large corporate account market
Works with and report opportunities to the direct and indirect sales teams to navigate projects through the AV channel
Works alone and with Field Sales Engineers on BOM, system design and POC
A successful candidate should have:
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of experience with business development, building business with premium solutions (hardware and/or software) based on added value to end-users – large corporations
10+ years of experience selling professional audio, video, and control solutions is an advantage, however, we strongly encourage people from other industries with relevant business development experience working with large corporations to apply
Must possess excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
Must possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
Must possess the ability to make decisions within the designated area of responsibility
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM, Power BI tools
Proven track record of exceeding goals/objectives
Work Environment:
Remote position, working from home
Up 75% travel
