Channel Account Manager

The role, at a glance:
Biamp, is currently recruiting for a new Strategic Channel Account Manager to join our highly regarded UK Sales team.
How you'll contribute:
Manage business relationships with regional integrators
Train and sell to integrators on all aspects of Biamp’s equipment, its functions and its uses
Provide technical and commercial feedback to Biamp from customers in the region
Staff trade show booths where appropriate
Other duties as assigned by your manager
You'll also support by:
Being a strong liaison between the Company, our channel partners, dealers/integrators, the specifier community, and end-users. Always being on the lookout for ideas and programs that will strengthen our business and provide input directly to Company headquarters for consideration
Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity and provide timely feedback to the Company
Overseeing development and execution of key account plans
Identifying new market opportunities and develop executable plans to win new business.
Taking accountability for delivering the required monthly win-wires, meeting plans, and other required metrics
Taking ownership on building a healthy sales funnel to support near-term and long-term business growth
Maintaining focused sales pipeline hygiene to ensure CRM is accurate and updated regularly with current and accurate customer information
Developing, supporting, and delivering both internal and external high-quality Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s)
Actively participating in industry trade show events and regional channel partner events
A successful candidate should have:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Experience in the professional audio marketplace including contacts with integrators
Experience with computer networking (preferably including audio and video networking)
Ability to build long-term relationships with Biamp’s integrators
Ability to give both technical and sales presentations to any level of attendee, from C-Suite down
Strong self-motivation to allow efficient work in a location remote from the company’s UK headquarters
Have a high degree of proficiency in computational skills (e.g., Office365), CRM, sales analytics, sales pipeline management and sales process management
Experience in the AV industry within the channel / integrator space is highly desired
Work environment:
This is a remote (work from home) position based ideally in the South of England (links into London and Brighton)
Up to 60% travel (mainly regional); plus participation at one or more national/international trade shows
