Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing automated or scripted assessments of the bank's technologies, applications, and cyber security controls. Key responsibilities include assisting with research, understanding bank’s security policy, working with appropriate partners to complete assessments and simulations, identifying misconfigurations and vulnerabilities, and reporting on associated risk. Job expectations include partnering closely with other assessors to improve their technical skillset and move into more complex and less scripted assessment types.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs collaborative analysis of internal and external threats on information systems and predict future threat behavior
  • Learns threat actors' tactics, techniques, and procedures related to offensive security testing
  • Performs, as part of a team, assessments of the security, effectiveness, and practicality of multiple technology systems
  • Leverages innovative thinking to contribute to team’s ability to solve problems or introduce new ideas to processes or products applicable to offensive security
  • Prepares and presents detailed technical information for various media including documents, reports, and notifications
  • Develops technical and organizational skills to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity when conducting assessments
