RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and develop complex requirements and unit tests to deliver a user story per the defined acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.

  • Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability of integration and testing built‐in from the outset and delivery into production.

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and use design and architectural patterns.

  • Demonstrate specializations in Software Architecture, Test Engineering, Continuous Integration, and Continuous deployment.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for integration, regression, and performance testing.

  • Contribute to story estimation and refinement to realize a story and requirement through the delivery lifecycle and resolve technical complexities involved.

  • Perform research and spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

  • Perform as a Technical Lead, provide code reviews, and share best coding and CI-CD practices.

  • Use JAVA/J2EE related development frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST, Hibernate, Struts for development of new applications.

  • Build and deploy applications on servers like WEBLOGIC and Websphere using MAVEN and ANT build tools.

  • Integrate applications by designing database architecture in Oracle/MySql and establish connectivity with other systems like SAP and EAI.

  • Develop Unix shell scripts and PLSQLs to develop cron jobs for data integrations and production issue workarounds.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Using JAVA/J2EE related development frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST, Hibernate, Struts for development of new applications;

  • Building and deploying applications on servers like WEBLOGIC and Websphere using MAVEN and ANT build tools;

  • Integrating applications by designing database architecture in Oracle/MySql and establishing connectivity with other systems like SAP and EAI; and,

  • Developing Unix shell scripts and PLSQLs to develop cron jobs for data integrations and production issue workarounds.
