Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets and Global Research. Wholesale Credit and Banking Technology (WCBT) under Global Business Banking comprises of technology for Commercial, Corporate and Investment Banking Customers of Bank of America across the globe. The team works closely with the business and strategic partners to architect, design and develop applications for the Global Wholesale Banking Line of Business.

Job Description*.

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. Participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Individual contributor role; works with minimal supervision; fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed. Will have to collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates.

Responsibilities*

Key responsibilities include:

• Liaison with various vendor partners (Finastra) and global stakeholders (Ops, CTO Partners and Other tech partners, L2 teams)
• Work on L3/BAU items related to Batches, Interfaces, Reporting, LoanIQ functionality, Infrastructure and DevOps
• Liase with users to understand the requirements on enhancements related to LoanIQ modules.
• Writing queries and building ad-hoc reports based on client needs;
• Drive process improvements and innovation
• Assist and mentor junior team members
• Interpret business requirements into design solutions.
• Develop solutions using Agile methodology and SDM tool integration for CI/CD
• Design the conceptual and physical data model; Adapt the best DB design and coding standards
• Provide weekend support during testing phases and Production release, as required.
• Conduct analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents
• Performance tuning and optimizations of Queries and Provide On-call support
• Report root cause of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future
• Regular engagement with Business & Systems Teams looking to adopt and apply the best practices

Requirements

Education*

• Any Graduation / Post Graduation

Experience Range*

• 8 to 12 years

Foundational skills*

• Good understanding of LoanIQ Data Model, Java, Oracle, SQL Server, Cognos, MSTR
• Prior experience in optimizing and tuning SQL queries; completely hands on
• LoanIQ SDK knowledge.
• Well versed with Agile methodologies and SDM tools
• Lending & Loan Accounting experience

Desired skills*

• LoanIQ Functional knowledge
• Oracle Golden Gate
• Commercial Banking experience

Work Timings*: 11 AM- 8 PM

Job Location*: Hyderabad / Chennai / Mumbai
