Job Description:
Baker Tilly Healthcare Consulting provides management and technology consulting services to healthcare insurers and health systems. As a member of our consulting team, you can expect to work with clients on a variety of project types spanning from full system implementations to business transformation roadmaps to healthcare analytics projects. Our team members participate in all phases of client engagements from project concepting through to deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities
Contribute to process improvement and business transformation projects for Baker Tilly’s healthcare clients including healthcare payers and providers
Collaborate with clients and internal teams through discovery sessions and interviews to identify, understand and translate business needs, processes and challenges into effective process documentation and requirements
Define key processes and capabilities to develop deliverables such as process maps, capability definitions, and reporting inventories
Own solution components from requirements through implementation
Manage project workstreams, build workplans, and track project financials
Manage third-party vendor relationships on behalf of clients and project needs
Construct status reports and project communications

Participate in various phases of system implementations or optimizations which may include:
Design definition
System and acceptance testing and validation activities
Data mapping, migration and integration efforts
Support for defect tracking, assessment and categorization
Post go-live support
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, engineering, computer science, management information systems, healthcare, public health, or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience; previous healthcare industry and/or consulting experience preferred
Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed and work outside of normal business hours due to client demands
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
Highly developed Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.) required
Self-motivated, resourceful individuals who enjoy solving problems and tackling new challenges
Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, see the "big picture" as well as the details and have a commitment to quality and timeliness
Project experience with full lifecycle application development (e.g. requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, deployment)
Data experience such as familiarity with relational databases and SQL is preferred
Experience with software testing tools and methodologies is preferred
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, best practices, and tools (e.g. Jira) is preferred
Process automation capabilities are preferred
The pay rate range for this job position is $85,910 - $162,890. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
