  • Ensure platforms are stable, scalable, secure, and fully compliant with firm policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage platform license strategy and utilization, including forecasting, optimization, renewals, and vendor engagement.
  • Lead platform feature enablement with governance, security, architecture, and risk partners; evaluate new capabilities and enable them safely.
  • Establish and continuously improve operating processes, including:
    • Access management
    • Onboarding/offboarding
    • Incident and issue management
    • Change/release management
    • Usage monitoring and reporting
    • Cost transparency
  • Build and oversee a tiered support model (Tier 1 via centralized IT; Tier 2 via the Applied AI Platform team) with clear SLAs, escalation paths, ownership boundaries, metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Lead global platform operations, defining operating models, workflows, handoffs, and escalation standards across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Ensure the Bangalore team is structured and staffed to deliver Tier 2 support and broader platform management responsibilities.

Platform Innovation & Value Realization

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact enablement opportunities that maximize platform ROI.
  • Partner with AI engineers, developers, and practitioners to reduce friction, improve the developer/practitioner experience, and accelerate experimentation and adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize, consolidate, or retire platforms to reduce complexity, risk, and cost.
  • Stay current on AI platform capabilities and industry trends, translating insights into practical, governed innovation for the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field required; preferred certifications include Azure, cloud, security, or IT service management (e.g., Azure, ITIL).
  • 10–12+ years of experience in technology platforms, AI, data, automation, or cloud operations, with proven ownership of enterprise platforms at scale and experience leading offshore/global delivery teams; professional services or regulated-industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI and automation platform operations, cloud‑native services (especially Azure), and security, governance, and risk considerations for enterprise AI.
  • Strong skills in platform operations leadership, service management, incident/problem management, vendor and license management, metrics/reporting, and process design/continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance control, compliance, and speed; establish scalable guardrails (e.g., adaptive governance, automated compliance checks, policy-as-code); and collaborate effectively with enterprise architecture, information security, data governance, risk & compliance, and procurement.
  • Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and professional presence.
