Job Description:

The Senior Communications Relationship Manager for People Solutions serves as the primary strategic communications partner to the Chief People Officer and the People Solutions leadership team. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated communication strategies that support talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness across the enterprise.

The leader in this role will translate People Solutions strategy into clear, compelling messaging for team members, leaders, People Solutions Business Partners, and key stakeholders. The position works closely with centers of expertise — including compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development, total rewards, and People Solutions Business Partners— to support change initiatives, major program rollouts, employee engagement, and organizational communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communication & Counsel

  • Serves as trusted advisor and communications partner to the Chief People Officer and People Solutions leadership team.
  • Develops communication strategies that advance the people strategy, culture, and team member experience.
  • Anticipates communication risks and opportunities, while driving change.
  • Provides counsel on messaging, timing, tone, and channels.
  • Supports executive positioning for People Solutions leadership, including talking points, presentations, and town hall content.
  • Integrates People Solutions communications plans with other franchise communications plans and initiatives.

People Solutions Program & Initiative Communications

  • Lead communications for major People Solutions initiatives such as:
    • compensation and benefits changes
    • performance management
    • talent acquisition campaigns
    • onboarding and career development
    • learning initiatives and leadership programs
    • Inclusion/culture initiatives
  • Translate complex policies and programs into clear, understandable employee messaging.
  • Ensure communications reflect brand voice, shared values, and organizational priorities.

People Solutions Business Partner & Leader Enablement

  • Partner closely with People Solutions Business Partners (HRBPs) to deliver messaging and equip leaders with toolkits and resources.
  • Create leader communication guides, FAQs, message maps, and change narratives.
  • Support change management communication strategies for organization design, restructuring, or transformation initiatives.

Change & Transformation Communications

  • Develop communication plans for organizational changes impacting team members.
  • Support enterprise change initiatives influencing people strategy and workforce experience.
  • Align communications with broader corporate change management frameworks.

Content Development & Channel Strategy

  • Draft and edit high-quality content including:
    • executive messages
    • intranet content
    • policy updates
    • employee emails
    • video scripts
    • leadership presentations
  • Partner with internal communications and digital teams on channel selection and measurement.
  • Ensure consistent narrative around employee value proposition and culture.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Track impact and effectiveness using survey data, engagement metrics, and feedback loops.
  • Continuously refine strategies to improve clarity, reach, and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 8–12+ years of communications experience, preferably in people solutions, employee communications, and organizational change.
  • Experience advising senior executives and navigating complex organizations.
  • Proven ability to translate technical or policy-heavy content into engaging narratives.
  • Strong writing and presentation creation expertise across multiple formats and channels.
  • Experience supporting transformation, culture, or people/talent initiatives.

Preferred

  • Experience partnering with or supporting People Solutions functions in complex environments.
  • Background in change management communications.
  • Experience in large, matrixed corporate environments.
  • Knowledge of compensation, benefits, talent management, org development, and workforce programs.

The compensation range for this role is $137,340 to $260,380. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
