We’re seeking a data-driven professional to support the engineering, analysis, and documentation of enterprise datasets using SQL and related tools. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the business behind the data—understanding how segments, products, channels, volumes, and revenue shape our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL-Based Data Engineering:
  Design, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into structured repositories for analysis and reporting.
• Dataset Analysis & Business Understanding:
  Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and relationships tied to business segments, product performance, channel activity, and revenue impact. Develop a strong understanding of the data’s business context.
• Process Documentation & Data Mapping:
  Create and maintain clear documentation of data flows, transformation logic, and business rules. Develop data dictionaries and process guides to support transparency and repeatability.
• Data Quality & Discrepancy Resolution:
  Identify and resolve inconsistencies across systems. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with business definitions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with sales, marketing, and commercialization teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decisions.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to document technical processes clearly and concisely.
• Curiosity to learn the business logic behind the data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis or engineering roles preferred.

Note:

• This position is based in Dallas, TX only and requires full-time in-office presence.

Our Senior Data Analysis, earn between $118,800 - $178,200. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
