JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineer

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway Plano, TX 75075 [hybrid position]

DUTIES: Support full stack system solutions that service a variety of internal business clients. Collect, manage, and convert raw data into predictive analytic models using visualization skills. Collaborate with software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives to ensure optimal data delivery architecture. Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements using PowerBI, SQL programming, Python, SCALA, Spark, .Net, machine learning, and automation. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes. Build data pipelines. Utilize Data Wrangler and infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from data sources using Azure and SQL technologies. Design database schema, dimensional models, and custom ETL implementation and maintenance protocols.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation collecting, managing, and converting raw data into predictive analytic models using visualization skills; assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements using PowerBI, SQL programming, Python, SCALA, Spark, .Net, machine learning, and automation; building data pipelines; utilizing Data Wrangler and infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from data sources using Azure and SQL technologies; and designing database schema, dimensional models, and custom ETL implementation and maintenance protocols.
