Job Description:
Overall Purpose
The Lead Psychologist – Organizational Performance is responsible for overseeing and advancing AT&T’s end-to-end employee listening programs, including Corporate Employee Engagement, Lifecycle, and ad-hoc surveys. This position plays a central role in designing, administering, and interpreting surveys, conducting quantitative and qualitative HR research, and providing strategic consultation to senior leaders.
This position will be part of, and contribute to, a team also involved in leading the company’s performance management and assessment programs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Employee Listening and Survey Leadership
- Lead the development, administration, and interpretation of enterprise-wide employee engagement and lifecycle surveys, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Oversee the design and implementation of surveys to measure employee engagement, satisfaction, and organizational performance.
- Develop and execute strategies for gathering employee feedback through multiple data collection methods, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
Research and Data Analysis
- Conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative research to assess organizational challenges, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Leverage research methodologies to analyze survey data and present findings in a clear, actionable manner to senior leadership.
Consultation and Client Interaction
- Facilitate discussions with leaders to translate insights into actionable strategies that drive employee engagement and organizational improvement.
- Consult with clients to design customized surveys and interventions tailored to specific business needs.
Program Management and Leadership
- Oversee the lifecycle of employee listening programs, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader in organizational psychology, providing guidance on best practices for employee listening, performance management, and assessments.
Education and Qualifications
Education
- Ph.D. in I/O Psychology or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in a related field, such as organizational development, employee engagement, or HR research.
- Proven experience in designing, administering, and analyzing large-scale surveys and assessments.
