Overall Purpose: Optimizes procurement strategies by managing, negotiating, monitoring, and sourcing vendor and sub-contractor contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Negotiation: ◦ Conduct comprehensive negotiations for contracts involving the purchase of goods and services for internal AT&T clients. ◦ Develop and implement negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms and minimize risks.

Sourcing Strategy Implementation: ◦ Execute assigned sourcing strategies in procurement events to meet organizational goals. ◦ Continuously evaluate and refine sourcing strategies to adapt to market dynamics and company needs.

Contractual Interpretation: ◦ Interpret and analyze terms and conditions of contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. ◦ Provide clear guidance to internal stakeholders on the implications of contractual terms.

Contract Modifications and RFP Management: ◦ Handle all aspects of contract modifications, including the preparation and issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), pricing revisions, and updates to vendor terms. ◦ Ensure accurate documentation and communication of all changes. Long-term/Blanket Purchase Contracts: ◦ Review, administer, and monitor long-term and blanket purchase contracts to ensure they meet business needs and comply with company policies. Manage contract performance and handle renewals or extensions as necessary. Contract Issues and Licensing Agreements: ◦ Address and resolve contract-related issues in collaboration with vendors and internal teams. ◦ Negotiate licensing agreements, including renewals and new business opportunities, to secure favorable terms.

Driving Negotiations: ◦ Lead and drive negotiations with vendors and suppliers, leveraging key points to achieve strategic objectives. ◦ Utilize data and market intelligence to support effective negotiation efforts.

Contract Administration: ◦ Administer contracts in line with company and customer policies, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. ◦ Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation. Legal and Business Coordination: ◦ Coordinate with Legal and Business Units to interpret and analyze contract documents, ensuring alignment and compliance. ◦ Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders to address contractual concerns or requirements. Statements of Work: ◦ Prepare and execute detailed statements of work, outlining the scope, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities for procurement projects. ◦ Ensure that statements of work are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with project objectives.

Sourcing Issue Resolution: ◦ Resolve sourcing issues by applying industry knowledge and evaluating new technologies and market trends. ◦ Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address and mitigate sourcing challenges. Strategic Network Planning: ◦ Recommend strategic network architecture planning and network evolution policy decisions, considering the long-term needs and goals of the organization. ◦ Stay informed about industry advancements and emerging technologies to make informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in contract management, procurement, or a similar role within a dynamic business environment.

• Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation techniques, and procurement best practices.

• Proficiency in contract management software and tools.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Our Lead Sourcing Management earn between $105,600 - $158,400 USD Annual in Dallas, TX. Our Lead Sourcing Management earn between $94,300.00 - $141,500 USD Annual in Atlanta, GA.
