As a Senior Technology Strategy, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to developing and communicating 5-year capital plans for RAN (Radio Access Network) and Mobility Transport infrastructure.

Your contributions will drive best-in-class operational excellence, enhance customer experiences, improve competitive positioning, and ensure optimal return on invested capital. You will leverage your expertise to understand the intricate relationship between network technology deployments (both current and future) and the broader AT&T business, focusing on one or more key technology domains and components.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Strategic Alignment and Planning: Leverage strong technical evaluation and planning skills to align network initiatives with business objectives. Ensure strategic decisions are informed by comprehensive research on network technologies, trends, and needs, with a deep understanding of one or more key technology domains. Develop and communicate strategic plans that align with the mission to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, and financial success.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Utilize research skills to evaluate competitive and industry dynamics, particularly the technical and economic impacts of new RAN and Mobility Transport technologies. Collaborate with internal and external sources to collect data, and work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to support business goals. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment with the vision of delivering top customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.
• Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analysis: Integrate technical, strategic, and financial analyses into cohesive hypotheses and conclusions, supporting sound investment decisions. Ensure that financial performance is optimized through rigorous analysis and strategic planning, prioritizing judicious investments that drive measurable impact.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Distill complex problems into clear, concise key decisions and conclusions, facilitating effective problem-solving and strategic planning. Drive operational excellence by applying innovative solutions to complex challenges, ensuring a measurable impact on customer satisfaction and competitive positioning.
• Communication and Presentation: Present hypotheses, conclusions, and recommendations confidently and effectively to senior management. Develop and deliver appropriate communication to senior management of technology organizations, ensuring that strategic insights are communicated clearly and persuasively. Align communication efforts with the mission to enhance competitive positioning and customer experiences, while achieving financial success through prioritized investments.

Job Contribution:
Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience preferred.

Required Experience:
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
Desired Skillset:
• General telecommunication industry knowledge
• Expertise in RAN and Mobility Transport infrastructure/network architecture and roadmaps
• Proficiency in spectrum, antennae, 5G, vRAN, and Network Planning principles
• Familiarity with AT&T Network organizations and processes
• Strong financial acumen and experience in financial analysis/TCO
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: Analysis of large datasets to make informed decisions about network deployment (Excel, Alteryx, MapInfo/ArcGIS/GIS, DEEP/Palantir
• Communication, Collaboration, and Presentation Skills.

Our Senior Technology Strategy, earns between $118,800.00-$178,200.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
