Role Overview:

As the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Digital Platform Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for AT&T’s desktop, mobile web, and app platforms. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, this role will drive the optimization and expansion of digital platforms to align with business objectives, enhance customer experiences, and ultimately deliver measurable growth.

This leader will work cross-functionally with senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring that digital platforms evolve to meet customer expectations. A strong background in app development, UX strategy, and e-commerce is essential. Additionally, the AVP will lead and develop a high-performing team to support AT&T’s digital transformation efforts.

Our AVPs earn between $231,700-347,500. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

This role is based in Dallas, Texas, requiring in-office presence 5 days/week. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a digital platform strategy that enhances customer engagement and drives growth across desktop, mobile web, and app experiences.
  • Define the role and long-term vision for each app and digital platform to ensure they support AT&T’s broader business objectives and customer experience goals.
  • Develop the go to market strategy and roadmap for the AT&T flagship app, in partnership with the Digital, Product and ATS teams.
  • Serve as the strategic lead for any and all new app requests across AT&T to ensure prioritization and alignment to solve for both customer and business needs.
  • Build and lead a team of digital platform specialists, driving a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize data, analytics, and user insights to refine platform strategies and enhance performance across key metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to integrate emerging technologies and digital capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital strategy, platform management, or related roles within a Fortune 500 company.
  • Proven expertise in app development, UX strategy, and e-commerce, with a history of successfully leading digital platform initiatives.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to use data-driven insights to optimize digital experiences and performance.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Ability to navigate and succeed in a highly matrixed organization, building strong relationships with stakeholders across departments.

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale digital transformation efforts.
  • Familiarity with major analytics platforms and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as CCPA and GDPR for data privacy.
