The Media Productions team within AT&T is responsible for production studios, control rooms, technology infrastructure, and streaming platforms that support these multi-media productions. They are responsible for the ideation, creation, design, and production of all media projects from large-scale webcasts to short video productions, both live and recorded.
The A1 Audio Designer provides primary support to audio production, from pre-production through post-production. Design, set up, and operate audio equipment and systems for live, recorded, and field production events.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating activities and processes that support all levels of audio production.
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and other production team members to understand their audio requirements, provide appropriate solutions, and make recommendations for equipment and setup.
- Test and troubleshoot audio equipment to ensure proper functionality and quality of sound.
- Maintain and organize audio equipment inventory.
- Supports development and implementation of production plans and budgets.
- Must be very resourceful and have in-depth knowledge of the full scope of the production to assist with resolving problems and roadblocks that occur.
- Strong communication and analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively about the media industry.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Dante certification preferred
- 3-5 years of experience working at an entertainment agency, development company or production company.
- Deep knowledge of broadcast audio systems, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixers, Yamaha, Dante, comms systems
- Understanding of media productions, both live and recorded
- Proven ability to strategically handle multiple projects
- Ability to communicate concisely with external vendors and internal teams and stakeholders, including executive-level leadership
Our Audio Designer earns between $87,200 - $130,800annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
