Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineering

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Street, Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Lead System Engineering needed by AT&T Services, Inc in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to support quality assurance and test architecture for major projects and validate critical customer flows. Design and implement test plans and strategies, write and execute test cases, identify and create defects and manage the project through final resolution. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test execution and coverage. Work with business stakeholders, developers and architects across teams to identify the high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinates the testing efforts accordingly. Analyze test results and metrics and prepares and presents test status reports. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies as well as scheduled and ad hoc meetings, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily and weekly progress reports and defect metrics collections. Engage with impacted teams during all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production validation. Provide test planning, test case design and integrate test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email, SMS communications, file feeds, and UI components. Work with SCRUM, Agile, and DevOps methodology. Work with mobile application testing for iOS and Android. Work with multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model and on-prem/cloud integration. Work on database and able to write basic sql queries. Utilize monitoring tools including Kibana, ELK logs, Dynatrace and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Applied Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2 Years of experience in the job offered, or 2 Years of experience in a related occupation providing test planning, test case design and integrate test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email, SMS communications, file feeds, and UI components; working with SCRUM, Agile, and DevOps methodology; working with mobile application testing for iOS and Android; working with multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model and on-prem/cloud integration; working on database and able to write basic sql queries; utilizing monitoring tools including Kibana, ELK logs, Dynatrace and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.
