JOB TITLE: Senior Quality Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202 (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home)

DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Dallas, TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) to elaborate the design and interfaces for specific components. Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context. Algin development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the solutions and its interfaces. Validate technology assumptions, evaluate implementation alternatives. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others. Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Participate in planning, definition and high-level design of the system solution and explore alternatives. Develop the Architectural Runway in support of new business features and capabilities. Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split and realize the implementation of enablers. Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, and retrospective workshops. Support quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects, validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Responsible for designing and implementing test plans and strategies, writing and executing test cases, identifying and creating defects and managing them through final resolution. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test execution and coverage. Work closely with business stakeholders, development, architects across teams to identify the high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinate the testing efforts. Analyze test results and metrics, prepare and present test status reports on a regular basis. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies. Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production validation. Utilize Cucumber, Selenium, Java, Groovy and JavaScript. Utilize REST API, Postman and RestAssured. Utilize CICD tools: Jenkins, Maven, and Docker. Work on UNIX/Linux environments. Utilize Kibana (ELK Logs), Dynatrace and QM. Utilize SCRUM and Agile, DevOps methodology. Utilize API’s, microservices, and UI components.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Cucumber, Selenium, Java, Groovy and JavaScript; utilizing REST API, Postman and RestAssured; utilizing CICD tools: Jenkins, Maven, and Docker; working on UNIX/Linux environments; utilizing Kibana (ELK Logs), Dynatrace and QM; utilizing SCRUM and Agile, DevOps methodology; and utilizing API’s, microservices, and UI components.
