Title: Application Administrator - SAP Basis
Job Description
- Administer the entire SAP landscape including sandbox, development, quality assurance, and production, ensuring it is reliable, stable, and all integrity is maintained, in both our ECC6, BW Hana and S4 environments.
- Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS)/Active Control to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.
- Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP instance.
- Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, backups, disk space, etc.)
- Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.
- Apply and migrate SAP maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a structured methodology.
- Perform off-hours support as needed for various system activities, including Windows patching.
- Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
- Participate in the on-call pool for SAP.
- Provide user support via our ticketing systems.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll do day-to-day (with your colleagues):
- Provide Secondary basis support as needed by Lead Basis Support Administrator.
- Manage and execute SAP transport requests between environments.
- Investigate and implement service marketplace notes, support packs, and enhancement packs.
- Provide user support via our ticketing systems.
- Provide security vulnerability administration and remediation.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration support in a large Enterprise environment in both ECC, BW Hana, and S4Hana
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with SAP on a Linux operating system
- Experience in addressing SAP Systems security vulnerabilities.
- Rubrik Cloud backup experience
- Configuration and troubleshooting of at least some of the following: SLT-R, Fiori, OData, Vertex SIC, ALE/IDOC, ADS, and Java Stack
- Experience in managing SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, Fiori, BW, NetWeaver ABAP/ JAVA, Enterprise Portal, HANA Database, & Linux
. - Experience in SAP Single -Sign On, Web Dispatcher, Trex Administration, OpenText archiving, TOMCAT.
- Experience in managing SAP Cloud environments, such as BTP, Cloud Foundry, Fiori, Cloud Connector
. - Responsible for compliance with production change management processes and key controls for SOX.
- Handle day-to-day activities using DevOps methodology: prioritize work, ensuring on-time deliverables with quality.
- Candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills.
- General knowledge of network technologies.
- Scripting and automation technology and processes.
- Monitoring and testing tools experience.
- Familiar with system copy / system refresh.
- Basis knowledge about Oracle and HANA Database.
- Basis knowledge about BOBJ, GRC, and Solution manager administration.
- The ability to work independently and in a team is vital.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
- Proven ability to respond to different organizational situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is necessary.

Min. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at$102,388 to $146,269 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
